What is Invisalign®?

Invisalign® is an orthodontic system of aligning teeth by use of a series of clear aligners. These aligners are custom-made for each patient. The virtually invisible aligners gradually cosmetically reposition misaligned teeth to effect a great smile. This is done without braces. The aligners are like “contact lenses on the teeth”.

Advanced 3-D printing is used to manufacture precise digitally made models of your teeth at each stage of your treatment. These models are used to manufacture the clear aligners.

How do you get strated?

Make an appointment today to see Dr. Halpin He will explain how the system works and answer your questions you can together address your dental alignment concerns. A detailed treatment plan will be made after examination, measurements, photographs, radiographs and models of your teeth are fabricated. Compexity and length of treatment will determine the fees. Dr. Halpin now uses a laboratory in Vancouver. The fees aren’t as high so he passes the savings to you. A series of aligners are made and delivered when you return. These are to be worn full-time except when eating certain foods, to floss and brush and exceptional social occasions. After every approximately six sets you return for a new set until alignment is completed.

How fast is treatment? Now super fast by accelerated orthodontics

Typically aligners are worn for two weeks each… however with advances in accelerated orthodontics, Dr. Halpin can treatment time in half! Aligners only five to seven days each! A great way to have Invisalign® treatment.
